Yeah, been around enough to see the room full of people who are all so special that nobody there is worth talking to!
I am the proud owner of character quotes such as ‘Hebbie-Jebbies!’ while wearing a wooden bowl as a helmet and cowering under the bed (personal favorite from a prologue event in a pnp game,) and ‘No. Go die if you want to, but I don’t like seeing the inside of goblin cooking pots.’
The super-builds have their own attraction every now and then, but it makes for a pretty boring story when you have no danger!
Shoulders have been seen to be the most visible thing about a character. Behind Weapon, but ahead of helmets; so pauldrons tend to be flashy because of this.
if you think floating crystal shoulders are silly then you haven’t seen the WoW Druid Tier shoulders, their literally mouths that can chomp, seriously they move up and down that their nicknamed the nom shoulders
I’ve considered seeing the other side of the warcraft online community a few times before (I have a lot of 90’s, I’ve given pvp a try here and there with fluxuating success), but first of all I’m quite rusty at RP, and second I’m completely unsure of how to get started at it.
I mean in wow there are a lot of people roleplaying (on that realm), how do you introduce yourself into someone else’s story, or go about starting your own without sounding pushy.
I’d also much prefer one where I don’t have to stay in character at all times, and could relax some of the time. Maybe I’m just picky, or was spoiled by one-on-one roleplaying.

hah didn’t expect a low level to know how to talk in OOC?
For she is the kwizatz haderach!
Ten years later, I understand this reference!
I CALL BULLSHIT! No one knows this the first time they ever RP NOBODY!
Who said it’s her first time? New to one game is not new to games in general.
Yeah, and there were hints about her playing offline rpgs, I believe. Experience outside the online world can be valid.
Just so.
My first time IC I got dragged to the gates of SW and lit on fire. Got the back though a few years later though.
ROFLMAO….*high-fives Robin*
It’s so refreshing to find RPers who aren’t trying to be the most surpreme bad-ass.
I hear ya. Ugh, I think back to my first pnp RPG character and cringe.

I chuckle at the floating crystal pauldrons. Why is it that so many games seem to have ridiculous pauldrons?

Most of us hide the helmets, so they’re not that visible. I mean, Vanilla ^ BC helms were downright UGLY, for the most part.
Oh god, the BC era armors… Everything but tier and the assassin set was just… just terrible.
The merciless glad is still my druid’s jam though.

there are also the warrior tier 15 shoulders. they stick out some weird tongue thing and then chomp down on it.
I much prefer the paladin tier 15, they crackle with lightning.
Tech ini ally those were the DK tier 15. The warriors was just a face. Dks were definitely disconcerting.

Realm Forums!
Keran is the one who will bring balance to the force. She is the chosen one.
Um, you DO know what happened to the last Chosen One, right?
And that would be the joke…
Hahahaha! Is that a nod in Rug’s direction? She’ll be delighted!
