This dude took her mats, clicked a button, and charged her a fee for making the potions. At that point, there is no tip. Raise your fee or shut your mouth.
A tip is optional, for going above and beyond, like if you had to go to the Crystal Pools of Kazun to imbue a weapon or something. Not for standing in town and smooshing some herb juice in to a bottle.
Unless they flew over to me, or somehow went above and beyond, then no fucking tip for you, guy who hocks your crafting skills and sets your own damned prices..
Tips are for people who craft for free if you bring them mats.
I don’t ask for or expect a tip when I craft something, but I always thank the person if they give me one. And I always tip (almost exorbitantly) – I had a rogue open six lockboxes for me the other day and tipped her 100g.
You tip because that person crafting for you didn’t have to help you, plus you are benefiting from the time and effort they took to level a profession.
Vedrana is the WORST KIND OF PERSON
I usually tip a few gold, not much.
Well, I used to at least.
Now I have all the professions at max.
So….. XD
tips are usually customary as you’d take up their time so they perform your service, while yes it is a button click sometimes it requires travel
That should be set in the fee he charges, not a demand for “extra” after the fact. They agreed on a fee, no tip needed.
I imagine I would rather enjoy waiting tables on Vedrana.
I like the alt-text. 🙂

He’s charging a fee already – the 50g. It’s stated that her mats are being used. I can’t see why he’d expect a tip? He’s already been paid!
Exactly.
