Keran and ved used to be close ranged *like living in the same town* IRL friends until *i think it was* keran had to move away, which was what made her start playing RoQ.
To me, this comes across as the first time in a long while they’ve actually been able to spend time online with just the two of them (as opposed to dealing with guild stuff). Keeping in mind that the entire purpose Keran started, and Verdrana resumed, playing RoQ was that they had moved apart geographically and wanted to stay in touch.
exactly remember they were just leveling and questing together and it was that One Guy’s B.S. trying to gaslight her that made her decide to fight back.
its all there, if you forgot you yall should consider some time going and rereading it! Even an amazing comic like this that updates almost every day still spans YEARS of real life. For us it was so long ago but in story it was probably like a year ago they were leveling in the equivalent of Darkshire and getting chased by that ganker
Glad I’m not the only one. Can’t tell if it’s intended or just the new eyes but this strip feels like it’s trying to establish something. And I think it’s legit cute ^_^
it was so weird growing up to find out that food chains arent all across the country that there are legit “food zones”
A friend told me he wants to visit HEB because everytime he talks to a texan they eventually mention it. like IDK they got stuff you can only get there but its just a grocery store the size of walmart *shrug*
I’ve never been to Texas but HEB sounds kinda like Whole Foods, but with less judgement. If I lived there, sure I’d shop there, but I wouldn’t go to Texas with that as a destination to visit 😉
Wait, were they roommates or something?

Yes, Keran moved away and started playing RoQ so they could still talk.
Sir Alvos could have been the baker at the monastery (olde monasteries used to be somewhat self sufficient I think).
Also, Sir Avlos should totally be a baker. He who lives by the fire…
Or maybe he got baked and saw “the Light”.
Is that a Cho-Gal style mech character in panel three? Awesome!
Doh* should have read the alt text first
To quote another comic, I guess they’re jager-bombing in the last panel
No body likes spiders!
you are well on your way to make a heros of the storm bootleg
Did they move in together or something? They seem a lot closer than before.
They’re long-time friends. Sounds like they might have been roommates in college or something.

I don’t know why I hadn’t until this strip… but all of a sudden I ship it.

I am sad that Keran doesn’t have access to good tacos.
