The true mark of a PvE player questioning a PvP one…. I don’t PvP much but I know enough to know those that enjoy it really can keep going at that level for hours…or even days(ah, memories of the original form of Alterac Valley…)
My fiance has told me about the old Alterac Valley, having to get a guildmate to sub in for him while he got some sleep in the middle of a week long AV battle. Also turning the chain to get to the raid in Blackrock mountain in to an impassable gauntlet for the opposite faction with boomkins spamming Typhoon. Good times.
I remember back before battle grounds were cross realm. You had only the people on your server and if there were no queues then you were out of luck, or you could just go to where there faction queue was and start an all out war there.
OR you went and found low leveled noob’s and taught’m the ropes, training them to become your ultimate fighting force once you hit max level. Evening the odd’s while contributing to the server!
Three hours? LIGHT WEIGHT! I had a 48+ hour PVP mass battle that spanned though barrens and ashenvale! and after sleep at last I dove back into it for another several hours of PVP madness.
…Only three hours? Goddamn, they really are casual. If we’re talking literal days where we have to have teams scheduled for blocks of time, then it gets *really* fun.
In before one of the other new abilities redirects ranged attacks like a barrier, they have it on rotation, and she can only blow friendlies off the bridge once used. XD
As someone who used to do world pvp back in the day, yes when properly motivated you can fight for 3+ hours. I call that’Genocide Mode.’
BTW is the xp boost wow guild still a thing? Just started playing again recently & all my friends are gone 🙁
It is still there, but no one’s really in it. 😐
I tried to join too on my hd but I never see anyone on… rip.
*whispers* I’m going to make a Highmountain cow and put him in that guild, okay?

Strike!
Bowling gets more fun when the pins are out to get you.
Its a RANGED ABILITY?! Haha, I thought it was a knockback originating from the player. Yeah, that’s ridiculously broken. xD

I remember the old days of world PVP. A lot of people zerging into small areas begging to be set on fire. But tossing them off the bridge works too.
Heh heh. Anyone remember hard-packed snowballs in AV?
