Money markets, innocent civvies, conspiracies, goofy code names (little fisherman), advanced tech, and tons of computer screens.
The first square is 70% of a Ghost in the Shell episode.
This will bite her in the ass. It is however a lose, lose situation. Lanton has the moral high ground, slowly but surely he will take the AH. Then the world!! ALL HAIL LANTON SUPREAME FISHERLORD!!!!
just realized this was actually an incredible way to demonstrate how Vedrana acts as a more direct foil to Ohran. their reactions to their team’s struggles at the Guard Boss, between hating and blaming versus groaning, trying patience and trying again later, helped set up their differing personalities and growth when it came to their similar styles of leadership – especially how Ohren absolutely refused to take criticism or development or even try to get to know others in his party, while Vedrana knew and talked to her teammates and had a close friend on board, and was willing to ultimately swallow her pride a bit and let her friends rub off on her.
back on topic – Ohren, when rejected by Vedrada, manipulated and plotted and harrassed her in response, and did gargantuan amounts of jackassery and manipulating in the last arc. But here, Vedrada starts doing her research, starts planning out research and revenge – and then immediately realizes how dumb this is and decides to just do her business with different fish
admittedly it’s for lesser stakes – impulsive and messy emotion pursuits vs. business rivalries – but the fact that Vedrada stopped before she got even close to going that far shows how much more mature and aware she is about herself, especially at this point of the story.

No. It’s not dumb. Crush him.
Self-awareness increased to 42.
always ask “what would that one asshole Paladin do” and then do the opposite
However, if the fisherman actually makes the first move in making a rivalry, engage in arguments.
4th panel “What was I thinking? Of course I’m doing this.” Could this really be a new V? Tune in next week!
Good for you, vedrana!
Pfft, the cowards way out.
Showing a complete lack of (and disregard to) commitment. Filthy casul, crush fishboy into dust.
Good for her. It could’ve backfired spectacularly and made her enemy number one in many eyes. Sometimes not doing anything is the best action. 😀
Calling it now, he is botting.
we’d be so lucky if people used their Bot powers to bring down auction house prices
