He’ll I’m in my 30s and I respond the same way to getting a legendary drop. Hell, I responded that way to being the first in my guild with a legendary cloak.

I just do lots of erotic grunting and horrible swearing.
Mind you I’m 19.
It doesn’t have to be legendary for me to still get excited about a decent item to drop for me in WoW. I don’t have the “suck it, everybody else” reaction though unless I am really excited (like when I barely won the roll for the staff from Siegemaster Blackfuse in Siege of Orgrimmar (best in slot for frost and arcane at the time).

Garrix is the other rogue in the raid team, one of the mostly-unnamed raiders that fade into the background, but make up the numbers required for a full team.

Garrix is the hero we need.
The best part is that if Xm hadn’t given Garrix the knife then Garrix would have gotten the knife.
Xm is so L33t that he hurts others even when he is trying to be nice.
