You aren’t kidding. But when you’re standing against the kind of players who pick Team Dark McEdgelord, any and every advantage you can squeeze out is justified.
Heh. I’m _still_ salty about Shamans getting better combat metamagic than Mages in World of Wowcrack, and I discovered that particular advantage enjoyed by the genocidal colonialist faction back when I started playing in 2005. (Eight years clean* this last July!)
*Probably a good thing that Heroes of the Storm is as “streamlined” as it is, helps keep me from getting sucked back in.
Orcs: Nothing but wage genocidal colonialist war from the moment Medievh brought them to Azeroth. Did not seek to make amends in _any_ capacity once freed from the demon-blood, not even for the murder of Cenarius which _threatened the destruction of all Azeroth by the Burning Legion_. Did not even cease their genocidal colonialist agenda. (Hint: Durotar was already occupied by a number of sophont races before the Orcs made it their ‘homeland’. The murder of native leaders and ethnic cleansing of undesirable occupants of Durotar continues unabated.)
Trolls: The Forest Trolls eagerly signed on with the Orc agenda between WC1 and WC2. The Darkspear Clan eagerly signed on with the Orc agenda in WC3.
Tauren: Quite literally as soon as they made contact with the Orcs, made an alliance to wage a genocidal conflict in order to drive the centaurs out of _their_ ancestral lands so that the Tauren could colonize said lands.
Forsaken: Conquered, colonized, and blighted Lordaeron. Actively working to do the same to the rest of Azeroth.

I’m not saying the Alliance are the Good Guy faction: They’re clearly the Neutral Guy faction. That doesn’t change what the Horde is and does.
Finally figured how to reply, I had to reply to myself.
So, I would agree with some of your points if we were talking about the Post-Garrosh horde, because Garrosh Ruined Everything. As it stands:
Orcs: Most of the Orcs that followed Thrall spent roughly 20 years in concentration camps, either as gladiatorial slaves for the alliance or born in captivity. Seeing as no alliance race was willing to accept their freedom (And I would say 20 years as concentration camp slaves is enough to alleviate SOME guilt), Thrall followed the prophet’s words and commandeered a boat (With minimal casualties according to Warcraft Chronicles Vol 3) and took the Orcs across the sea to Kalimdor.
Side note: Altough the rest of the alliance said “good riddance” to the orc population taking a sea trip to a continent unknown to them, Admiral Daelin Proudmoore of Kul Tiras was unwilling to leave well enough alone and took his fleet on a war of complete genocide (In his own words: Kill ever single one of those animals, down to the last woman and child), and when he got killed in return, the alliance at large decided it was his own fault because genocide is a dick move. (Again: this is Backed by Warcraft Chronicles Vol 3, that the alliance at large thought this was the reason Kul Tiras left)
Trolls: Forest Trolls are NOT a part of Vanilla WoW’s horde. They were a part of the Old Horde of WC1 and 2.
The Darkspear tribe of Jungle Trolls signed on with the Horde because the Horde saved them from Extinction, as their original island home was sinking into the Maelstrom and any attempts to leave the island were thwarted by a naga Sea Witch.
Tauren: Yes, they made an alliance with the orcs, because the Centaur tribes of the Desolace (And yes, the Centaurs ancenstral lands was the Desolace, and specifically Maraudoon, not Mulgore) had been pursuing a genocidal campaign against the Nomad Tauren for several generations. Quote from Wowpedia: “The sudden monumental loss of life sent ripples throughout all of Azeroth and even the Emerald Dream. Zaetar, son of the forestlord Cenarius, traveled to Desolace to investigate, but though he had decided to imprison Theradras, he instead fell in love with her. Theradras requited Zaetar’s affection, and the two became mates. From this forbidden and unnatural union, the centaur were born. After having brutally murder their father, the half-horse creatures quickly proliferated and spread out across Kalimdor, driving the tauren of Desolace from their homes and igniting a long and dark period of war that would come to last for many centuries”
Finally the Forsaken: This is just wrong. Why Colonizers? The Forsaken who during classic lived in Undercity and the surrounding areas are the EXACT SAME PEOPLE who lived there before they were zombified. Sure, they may have died, but once raised, they were still the soveregin people of Lordaeron. Even further, according to Vanilla era lore, the forsaken attempted to open diplomatic channels with the remaining human nations, and the messengers were, in fact, slain.

Look, all of this is the lore as it was seen during Vanilla, I have added, as I understand it, no information from after that. I assume you never played Horde during that era? The main theme of the horde during Vanilla wow was “Outcasts banding together to survive”.
And now, here is something from Currently understood lore:
The very first race to naturally evolve and expand on Azeroth were the Trolls of Zandalar. You know what that means? ALL LAND IS TROLL LAND, SOD OFF ALLIANCE COLONIZERS.
“Nahro”‘s disappearance was a “POOF,” not a “VOIP.” Does this signify anything?
I only ask because I was greatly hoping for “Nahro” to do a “VOIP” instead of a “POOF,” with the in-story reason turning out to have been that the police showed up at his door after having been alerted by the RoQ Dev.s that a known individual (who was later logging in as “Nahro”) at [specified] address was confirmed to have insinuated an illegal keylogging binary onto multiple users’ systems — with xmurderbanex and theron as two known examples of users whose systems had been infected.
I agree…It is not over….just getting interesting…judging from Vedrana’s reaction and the fact that she and Nahro are of similar class she knows something Lys does not
So hurt.
Is that his hearthstone or the warlock short-range teleport?
The latter, at a guess,
Ironic coming from the over powered monk who can omae wa mou shindeiru a whole group of players.
Honestly, if you’re not hypocritical about class imbalances when they’re in your favor, you’re probably not playing on a PVP server to begin with.

“genocidal colonialist faction”
Uhhh…
The alliance didn’t get Shamans until TBC
Team Dark McEdgelord represent, eh?

Coward.
Yes, he is. He started this whole thing, and first thing he does, is run away.
