Trickier
Legion is here for us on the WoW train. I’m writing this before I play, but I feel safe saying I’m having a pretty rad time with it as we speak.
Reminder that there’s an Experience Boost guild Horde side on Wyrmrest Accord (titled Experience Boost, coincidentally). Shoot any member a message for an invite!
Also a heads up: I’ll be out of town the rest of this week and start of next as I head to DragonCon. regular comics will resume next Wednesday.
EDIT: Whoop! In my Legion/DragonCon excitement I forgot to note that in panel one Curvin (left) and McScratchnuh (right) are from $15 backers Angela and Jonah on the Experience Boost Patreon. Thanks to them!
Is Legion any good? I lost a lot of faith after WoD.
I’ve only completed one zone (Azsuna) and done some of the Class Order quests for Death Knights, but I’m having a blast. Artifacts feel cool, the quests are fun, and the presentation is great (nice voice acting and cutscenes). I can’t speak to the endgame obviously but what they’ve talked about sounds promising.
(By the way if you come back to the game, Wyrmrest Accord, Horde,. Do iiiiiiit.)
NEVER. I EXIST ONLY FOR THE GLORY OF THE KALDOREI.
That’s where I started to.
I’m glad it sounds good…I’ll have to server hop once I’m able to play again 🙂
I got the game and tried to make a Night Elf on WRA, but Sandia is taken:[
Legion is very good. Ie; I need sleep, but Artifact power ain’t gonna grind itself.
One thing I will say. The expansion transition was literally flawless, no bugs, no kicks, nothing.
The only issue I’ve found so far is the login queues and the 2 hour lfg queues.
(Needless to say, raiding and endgame hasn’t really been touched yet, so it COULD still be a flop, who knows)
How to know when you are playing too much Legion?
When your artifact weapon starts talking to you, you talk back.
I did that when he started talking the third time.
Does it make snarky remarks like the weapon of the white power ranger?
I’m having a lot of fun with Legion. I think the only thing I dislike is that some quest items from mobs don’t drop 100%. But the areas and story are amazing.
Since I promised the hubby I’d quest with him on my pally, I hit my worgen hunter this time out.
Highmountain is gorgeous!
Really wish I could jump in to Legion, but my back catalogue is huge (thank you steam sales) and I promised myself “no more MMOs”.
But MMOs save you so much money because you don’t need to buy other games! If you can stay away from the cash shop at least.
And if you believe Kharra’s line, I’ve got a bridge in Dalaran to sell you. 😉
Hey man, the only games I’ve spent more than a couple bucks on in the last decade are WoW and Halo.
You are indeed a rarity, because most MMO’ers I know play multiple games…especially WoWers, who’ve got Hearthstone, Overwatch, Diablo, and Heroes of the Storm all sitting enticingly on their launcher, and I’ve got a number of friends who play both WoW and FFXIV, and Dofus, and Wakfu, and…and…
I don’t think Kharra is THAT rare. I pretty much only play WoW. I tried Diablo, but didn’t like how linear it felt, Hearthstone was meh for me (but I’ve never been a card game player), and I bought Skyrim thinking I would play it with my son, but he is heavily into Overwatch right now, so, yeah, no. With the in game currency buying game time, I haven’t spent more than the initial purchase outlay for Legion in the last year plus, and don’t expect to see that change anytime soon.
Oh, also rolled a Tauren Druid on WRA, will be looking for a guild inv once I stop leveling my rogue main on Drenden, lol!
My frost mage is having fun throwing Frostbolts and Ice Lances at everything in Stormheim. I am taking the night off of gaming, but I enjoy Legion so far.
… I just noticed after three days of looking at this waiting for an update (Impatient, I know) that one of those guys in the background (Idek what class) got some nice, pixelated abs. They’re just… Wow.
More like WoW amirite
And he’s looking at Ginger’s boobs.
I ain’t even mad, that’s hilarious.
