Time to gem, enchant, reforge (when it was a thing), transmog, etc. For a long time, it was a huge pita to get your gear set in wow when you go it. Like if you got a new weapon in Mists is was like “Time to blow 2k grand on shit….”
While I agree it was a huge pita I enjoyed having one more piece of the puzzle as far as, “Should I bring this person to my raid?” Like if you weren’t Hit and Expertise capped, I pretty much knew you had not researched your class, probably didn’t know strats and were going to make me miserable. Just my not so humble opinion 🙂
I predict Orhan being sad. Or murderous. Either way, someone will cry.
Is that… the zelda chest-opening fanfare?
It is indeed a famous video game fanfare.
I thought it was Final Fantasy.
You are correct.
Can’t remember; were Royal Guards the gear-check before the final boss or are they halfway?

About halfway.
Okay, so still in the, lore-wise, ‘random guys hanging around’ stages of the raid. 🙂
There’s a party going on right here…
A celebration, to last throughout the year.
So bring your good times and your laughter too
If this is like a wow analog, then getting a new piece of gear is like about the equivalent of wiping your ass with a cheese grater.
I don’t… what?

Gems sockets are very rare now, and most enchants have been removed. There’s I think three maybe four slots that have enchants anymore.
