She didn’t assume he was American necessarily, she assumed he was in a different timezone. Even if Murd isn’t a continental America, he could be Canadian and still have similar time zones for example. She also assuming he’s 12, so he’s most definitely in a similar timezone to her own. Europe or anywhere else would be too far apart for a 12 year old to have the right hours I think given they’d likely be in school.
Why did he press the button to make his character sweat nervously…that’s a dead give away. Total n00b mistake that a thirteen year old would definitely make.
I would say the artist has to take some liberties in how to show emotion for in a video game such as this there would be no real way to even know how a person reacts. Not unless it was programed in and many games don’t give that much emote to any character.
I have run into very immature grown-ups and very mature teenagers in WoW. I once went through a PUG raid where the raid leader was the guild leader’s 8 year old daughter, and she was a better player than I was (this was back in Wrath of the Lich King). It was a little disconcerting to hear a child’s voice over ventrilo, but she knew how to lead a run smoothly.
… Can we have murd secretly be Donald Trump?
So I now take it that Lysandra is an (continental) American, but why assume XmurderbaneX is?
Because every country is one of our states, some just haven’t been freedom’d yet.
If a certain someone wins the elections, this might as well be true.

Probably his colloquialisms.
She is tearing into his fabrications, sending them to the shredder bit by bit.
Next she’ll tell him to get on his mic and prove her wrong, else drop the ultimatum.
I’ll admit it. I did this stuff when I was little.

Yes, yes… but we all know Kent’s version was much funnier!
Another excellent pairing of avatar and comment.
These are all falling together way too well to be a coincidence…
Unfortunately, some of the older instances of that are gone. The avatars in older comments have changed. : /
Aw, he’s blushing and sweating! π
Let’s see how he proves he’s just immature for his age. π
Pull already! gogogogogo (I am sure the others in the dungeon are thinking) π
Nine o’clock, ten o’clock, eleven o’clock rock. π
I actually feel a little bad for Murd here. Who DOESN’T remember being this age, and trying to act older than you really were?
Getting teased for it sucks.
Of course, the kids never really realize until they’re older than they bring a lot of it on themselves.
And why does it have to be a boy? I’ve heard girls cuss up such a storm also.

….oh god. Murd’s not a 13 year old boy.
Murd’s a 13 year old GIRL.
